To our faithful Guardian Television viewers,

For the last 7 years, the Guardian Television Network has provided this channel as part of Sky Angel.  It has been our joy to bring a mix of ministry programs and family friendly entertainment to your home.  We launched in 2003 as PAX, with great originals like DOC and Sue Thomas, F.B.Eye.  Growth and development allowed us to invest in a library of movies and programs like The A-Team, Magnum P.I., Hazel and Dennis the Menace.  We experienced a great blessing from the Lord as we ventured out into our own program production.  The Bananas comedy show is our flagship program and you, the Sky Angel viewer, were the first to see it on a national level.  7 is the Lord’s number and it has been a great 7 years of partnership.

It is therefore with great regret that we have found it necessary to end the Guardian Television broadcast.  The funds necessary to continue providing the channel are simply not available.  Tough economic times are constricting everyone’s budgets and we are carefully stewarding the resources the Lord has provided to prepare for the next stage He has for our company.

Bananas continues to be an amazing gift, providing joy and healing to those in the hospital and bringing laughter into homes.  Jeff and Tami’s personal message of love and redemption in Jeff Allen: My Heart My Comedy even offers hope to those in failing marriages.  The Bananas series will soon be available as part of the Sky Angel Video On Demand service.  We hope you will continue to share it with family and friends.

Our prayers are with you who have chosen to actively focus your resources on bringing safe, family friendly television into your home.  We covet your prayers as we seek the Lord’s direction for the next stage of Bananas production.  Watch for new episodes, which we hope to begin releasing in mid to late 2011.
